Draugrs are a series of skeletal enemies added to the Glacier floor in the Neapolitan Update.

Draugr

Draugrs pursue the player like Gapers but will prioritise seeking out any available Wisps which they will eat if successfully caught up. Once they have eaten a Wisp, they will no longer seek any other Wisps and their behaviour changes depending on the Wisp type. If a Draugr eats a Chill O' Wisp, it will gain a freezing aura and pursue the player. If a Draugr eats a Grill O' Wisp, it will gain a warmth aura and attempt to flee the player instead. If Isaac gets into the heating aura of a Draugr that has eaten a Grill O' Wisp, the Draugr will instead chase the player until he leaves the aura. Upon death, they release any Wisp they were storing.

Notes

  • Draugrs can also eat Fireplaces to gain a warmth aura. Upon death they'll then spawn a smaller Grill O' Wisp similar to the ones Fireplaces spawn when extinguished in a chill room.

Haugr

A Fatty equivalent of the Draugr, Haugrs slowly pursue the player but exclusively seek Grill O' Wisps to consume while ignoring Chill O' Wisps. Unlike Draugrs, Haugrs can consume and store multiple Grill O' Wisps at once. Once a Grill O' Wisp is eaten, the Haugr gains a heat aura but multiple Wisps do not increase the size of said aura. Upon death, the Haugr will drop any and all stored Grill O' Wisps.

Notes

  • Like Draugrs, Haugrs can also eat Fireplaces.

Jaugr

Jaugrs are muscular versions of the Draugr. They chase the player and will perform a dash attack if they line up with the player horizontally, though they will only choose to do this if the player is a few tiles or more away. Jaugrs will also shove away any Ice Hazards they come into contact with, releasing the contents inside. They will often shove said Ice Hazards towards the player when possible.

Jaugrs can also eat Chill O' Wisps, at which point they become chilled. While chilled, any enemy which can exist as an Ice Hazard (i.e Horfs, Drifties, etc) that comes too close to the Jaugr will be given an icy punch by the Jaugr and frozen into a Spiked Ice Hazard. This, in combination with their ability to kick away Ice Hazards towards the player, can be a dangerous attack. Upon death, Jaugrs will release a Chill O' Wisp if they have eaten one.
