Stabstack is a segmented monster exclusive to the Tomb added in Revelations Chapter 2's Vanity Update. While still having segments, Stabstack will slowly wander around the room.
Every time a segment of a Stabstack is destroyed, it is knocked off and will roll around the room, similar to Singe's balls. Fallen Stabstack segments deal contact damage to Isaac, cannot be destroyed by normal means and can be moved by him, other monsters, other Stabstack segments or explosions. Fallen Stabstack segments will last in the room until the head is defeated.
When only Stabstack's head is remaining, he will slowly hop towards Isaac, occasionally shooting out 5 tears in a star pattern.
Notes
- Stabstack can spawn with any number of segments, which can make them a rather daunting enemy to defeat if they have many segments.
- Rag Tags can swipe Stabstack segments at the player, whether they're on the ground or still apart of Stabstack. If a Rag Tag swipes at a segment still apart of Stabstack, it will be removed from that Stabstack and be flung at the player.
- Stabstacks will still spawn segments if they are killed through freezing (which normally prevents on death effects).
Trivia
- Stabstack is based off of the Pokey enemy from the Super Mario series.
