Fly
Fly monsters are very common flight based monsters. Revelations adds the following variants.
Ice Pooter
Ice Pooters are Pooter monsters trapped in Ice Cubes. Although they don't spawn normally, they are shot from other monsters and bosses, such as Iced Hive and Frost Rider. They slide on the floor, leaving creep as they slide, and they do contact damage to the player. The first time they hit a solid surface, it bounces off and cracks. The second time it hits a solid surface, it will break and spawn a Pooter.
Shy Fly
Bounces off the walls. Creates a snowy explosion upon death, covering near-by ice and pits in snow bridges.
Cryo Fly
Chaces the player in an orbital manner. Creates an icey explosion upon death, creating a cross of ice tiles.
Locust
Locusts travel in packs, staying at a distance from the player before all charging him at once. While charging, if the locusts hit any enemies, they will damage them and send out a burst of tears. If an enemy dies to a Locust, it will become a Bony. Lone Locusts directly follow the player and will not charge.
Notes
- The Lil Frost Rider item shoots friendly versions of Ice Pooters.
- If the player somehow manages to do the full 1,000 damage to the Ice Pooter, the monster will die and will not spawn the regular Pooter.
- Though an unused feature, if Locusts are spawned in a room with Rag Mega, the Locusts will target Rag Mega instead of Isaac, while also dealing 30x damage to it.
