Drifty
Drifties are floating monsters that can be found on the main floorpath and inside the Glacier. They deal contact damage and move by firing a single tear very high, which slowly descends to the ground. Drifties recoil in the opposite direction from the tear's trajectory to move.
Variants
Pucker
Puckers are stronger variants of Drifties encountered mostly in the Womb floors. They have more health and shoot faster than Drifties, but otherwise behave the same way.
Rag Drifty
Rag Drifties are a Tomb variant of Drifties. They fire slow-descending homing tears, that chase Isaac if he gets close enough.
On death, Rag Drifties leave Rags behind. After revival, buffed Rag Drifties fire 3-5 homing tears in quick succession instead of 1, although they do so less often.
Pseudo Rag Drifty
Pseudo Rag Drifties are another Tomb variant of Drifties. They move by occasionally fire a burst of tears, although less often than regular Drifties. Pseudo Rag Drifties do not leave rags behind and cannot be revived nor buffed.
Notes
- Drifties seem to be based off of Dumplings, floating monsters from an old game of the same name created by Edmund McMillen.
- Punker is a boss version of Drifties, and can spawn Puckers.
- In the Glacier, Drifties have a different appearance and can spawn via Ice Hazards.
